Rolls-Royce takes feedback from its customers seriously and is implementing several improvements to the already amazing Phantom model.
It has been around five years since Rolls-Royce unveiled the eighth generation of its expensive Phantom. While Rolls-Royce call the full-sized luxury sedan the best car in the world, it has made minimal yet impactful changes for the 2023 Phantom Series II and its extended wheelbase version.
At a quick glimpse, the 2023 Phantom Series II still looks like the pre-facelift model. This is because Rolls-Royce’s client base is quite sensitive to drastic changes made on the model. The carmaker aimed to preserve the most important elements while making small yet dramatic revisions.
For the Phantom Series II, Rolls-Royce decided to implement a few changes up front, such as the new polished horizontal line above the Pantheon Grille (between the daytime running lights). The carmaker also implemented a subtle geometric revision to the Pantheon Grille, thereby making the ‘RR’ Badge of Honor and Spirit of Ecstasy mascot more prominent up front.

In addition, the Phantom Series II borrows a feature from the Rolls-Royce Ghost – the bars of the signature Pantheon Grille now light up, thereby giving the sedan a more prominent presence, especially at night. Clients can also have their Phantom Series II specified in any or combination of these elements: darkened chrome grille surround, windshield surround, black hood reins, and side frame finishers,
While the side profile of the 2023 Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II remains virtually the same, it can sport a different look. This is thanks to the new 3D, milled, stainless steel wheels that seemingly deviate from the reserved appearance of other rims. Featuring triangular facets, these wheels are available in a fully or part-polished finish.

Clients may also avail of the classic disc wheel disc, reminiscent of the 1920’s Rolls-Royce motor cars. These disc wheels are available in both polished stainless steel and black lacquer. Moreover, the carmaker added intricate laser-cut bezel starlights to the headlights of the Phantom Series II, thereby visually linking it to the Starlight Headliner inside.
Meanwhile, the already sumptuous interior of the Phantom Series II remains almost the same. The only change is the slightly thicker steering wheel for a more engaging feel. This change came after Rolls-Royce found out there is an increasing number of Phantom clients who wanted to be on the driver’s seat.
Clients can now choose from more options for their Phantom Series II, which is also available in Platino version.
